Welcome from President Sharon L. Etemad

Students get the same opportunities here regardless of where they call home. Our one-state rate allows all U.S. students to pay North Dakota resident rates. International students also pay an attractive, reduced tutition rate when they choose to attend Lake Region State College.
I know students will enjoy the coziness and diversity of LRSC and the home-town feel of Devils Lake. Go ahead, look around! Take a look at North Dakota.

A little about the Lake Region... Devils Lake is the largest natural body of water in North Dakota, making it an excellent vacation spot for all four seasons of the year.
The region offers some of the best fishing, hunting, camping, bird watching, hiking, and wildlife viewing in North America! Students and their families and friends take advantage of the outdoor activities in a natural paradise.
History also is abundant. The Fort Totten state historic site is the best-preserved frontier military installation west of the Mississippi. Visitors can take in an educational tour of the fort, dinner and lodging at the Totten Trail Inn, and an entertaining summer evening at Fort Totten Little Theatre, the longest running community summer theater in North Dakota.
A variety of fun activities also take place each year including the Devils Run classic car show held in early June and the state Roughrider Rodeo Finals held each September.
